Reiki Master Certification Terms & Conditions

Sedona Medium, LLC — Christina Wooten, Certified Usui/Tibetan Reiki Master Teacher

These Terms & Conditions outline the expectations, prerequisites, responsibilities, and policies associated with enrolling in the Reiki Master Certification class offered by Sedona Medium, LLC.
By registering for this program, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to the following:

1. Prerequisites for Enrollment

Reiki Master training requires a specific foundation of study and practice.
To qualify for enrollment:

Required Lineage & Level

You must have completed Reiki I and Reiki II training in the Usui/Tibetan tradition with a Certified Reiki Master Teacher.

Online Training Considerations

If your Reiki I or II certification was completed online, you must speak with Christina Wooten prior to registering.
Due to the nature of hands-on skills required at the Master level, not all online certifications qualify, and acceptance is determined on a case-by-case basis.

Submission of Certificates

After completing registration, you must email clear copies of both your Reiki I and Reiki II certificates to:

Certificates must be submitted at least two weeks prior to class start date.

Failure to Provide Documents

If you register without meeting the prerequisites or fail to provide acceptable certificates:

  • You will not be able to attend class.

  • No refund will be issued under any circumstances.

It is your responsibility to verify your eligibility before registering.

2. Attendance Requirements

Full Participation is Mandatory

Certification as a Reiki Master  requires:

  • Full attendance for all scheduled class dates

  • Presence for the entire class period

  • Participation in hands-on exercises, attunements, and demonstrations

Partial attendance, tardiness, early departure, or missing any portion of instruction may result in an incomplete and will not meet certification requirements.

Demonstration of Master-Level Proficiency

Students must demonstrate competency in:

  • All advanced Reiki techniques introduced in class

  • Reiki Master symbols and their application

  • Hands-on Master-level protocols

  • Understanding advanced Reiki philosophy and responsibilities

  • Professional conduct befitting a Reiki Master

Certification is awarded solely at the instructor’s discretion.

3. Non-Refundable Registration

All tuition and fees are non-refundable, without exception.

This applies regardless of:

  • Personal circumstances

  • Scheduling conflicts

  • Medical issues

  • Emergencies

  • Dissatisfaction with the course

  • Failure to meet prerequisite requirements

Registrations may not be transferred to another date, program, or person unless explicitly approved in writing.

Please register only if you are fully committed and eligible.

4. Classroom Conduct & Removal Policy

To protect the sacred, respectful environment required for advanced Reiki training:

Students are expected to:

  • Maintain kindness and respect toward peers and instructor

  • Conduct themselves in alignment with Reiki’s healing philosophy

  • Participate in a supportive and non-disruptive manner

Sedona Medium, LLC reserves the right to remove any student—at any time, for any reason—without refund, including for:

  • Disruptive, harmful, or disrespectful behavior

  • Harassment, bullying, or inappropriate comments

  • Aggressive or unsafe conduct

  • Arriving under the influence of drugs or alcohol

  • Refusal to follow class guidelines

  • Behavior inconsistent with ethical Reiki practice

5. Intellectual Property & Manual Use

The Reiki Master class includes original written and visual materials created by Sedona Medium, LLC.

By registering, you agree that:

  • All materials are for personal use only

  • You may not copy, distribute, alter, or publish any portion

  • You may not incorporate these materials into any training, class, or program

  • You may not teach from these materials without express written permission

Unauthorized use of materials is a violation of copyright and may result in legal action.

6. Personal Responsibility & Health Disclosure

You acknowledge that:

  • Reiki is a spiritual healing practice, not a medical or psychological treatment

  • You are responsible for your physical, emotional, and energetic well-being

  • You will disclose any injuries, mobility concerns, or limitations that may affect participation

  • You will engage in partner practice and attunement processes at your own risk

7. Liability Waiver

By enrolling, you voluntarily release and hold harmless Sedona Medium, LLC and Christina Wooten from all liability related to:

  • Injuries

  • Emotional or energetic responses

  • Trauma activation

  • Use or misuse of techniques taught

  • Personal outcomes related to Reiki practice

  • Any risks inherent in energy work, movement, meditation, or hands-on techniques

Participation is voluntary, and you assume full responsibility for your experience.

8. Certification Disclaimer

Completion of the Reiki Master class:

  • Confirms training, not licensure

  • Does not guarantee professional success

  • Does not exempt you from state, local, or national laws regarding healing services

It is your responsibility to understand and comply with all legal and ethical regulations in your area.

9. Photography, Recording & Confidentiality

To maintain energetic and personal privacy:

  • Recording audio or video during class is strictly prohibited

  • Photography is not permitted without explicit permission

  • All personal experiences shared by other students must remain fully confidential

10. Private Home Location & Premises Liability

This class is held inside a private residence.
By attending, you acknowledge and accept:

Assumption of Risk

Residential environments involve inherent risks (walkways, stairs, floors, pets, household items). You are solely responsible for your safety.

Release of Liability

You agree to release and indemnify Sedona Medium, LLC, Christina Wooten, and all household members from liability relating to:

  • Slips, falls, or accidents

  • Physical injuries

  • Allergic reactions (including to pets, scents, or plants)

  • Loss or damage to personal belongings

  • Any harm occurring on the premises before, during, or after class

Pets & Allergens

This home includes both cats and a dog.
By registering, you acknowledge potential exposure to pet dander and accept associated risks.

Respect for the Space

You agree to:

  • Remain only in designated areas

  • Treat the home with respect

  • Follow all safety guidance

  • Avoid exploring private areas

  • Avoid filming or photographing private portions of the residence

11. Agreement

By registering for the Reiki Master Certification class, you acknowledge that you:

  • Have read and fully understand these Terms & Conditions

  • Meet all prerequisite requirements

  • Agree to comply with all policies

  • Accept that all fees are non-refundable

  • Understand that violation of these terms may result in dismissal without refund

This agreement is binding upon registration and applies for the duration of the class and beyond.
