Reiki I & II Certification Terms & Conditions
Sedona Medium, LLC — Christina Wooten, Certified Usui/Tibetan Reiki Master Teacher
These Terms & Conditions outline the expectations, responsibilities, and policies associated with enrolling in the Reiki I & II Certification class offered by Sedona Medium, LLC. By registering for this program, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to the following:
1. Attendance Requirements
Full Participation is Mandatory
Certification in Reiki I and Reiki II requires full attendance for both scheduled class dates.

Students must be present for the entire class period each day.

Partial attendance, arriving late, leaving early, or missing any portion of the instruction may result in an incomplete and will not meet certification requirements.
Demonstration of Proficiency
Students must demonstrate competency in:

Hand positions and basic techniques
-
Understanding foundational Reiki concepts
-
Proper approach to giving Reiki sessions
-
Symbols and protocols (Reiki II)
-
additional skills expected of Reiki I and II practitioners.
Certification is granted upon the instructor’s judgment that the student has adequately learned and demonstrated the necessary skills and understanding.
2. Non-Refundable Registration
All tuition and registration fees for this class are non-refundable.

This policy applies regardless of personal circumstances, scheduling conflicts, illness, emergencies, or dissatisfaction with the class.

Registrations may not be transferred to another class date, another program, or another person unless explicitly approved in writing by the instructor.
Please register only if you can commit to the full experience.
3. Classroom Conduct & Removal Policy
To maintain the sacred space and supportive energetic environment required for Reiki learning:

Students are expected to behave respectfully, kindly, and in alignment with the healing nature of this work.

Disruptive, harmful, inappropriate, or disrespectful behavior toward the instructor or other students will not be tolerated.
Sedona Medium, LLC reserves the right to remove any student from the class at any time, for any reason, without refund.
This includes but is not limited to:

Harassment, bullying, or inappropriate comments
-
Aggressive or unsafe behavior
-
Arriving under the influence of drugs or alcohol
-
Refusal to follow class instructions or guidelines
4. Intellectual Property & Manual Use
This course includes a Reiki I & II Manual created by Sedona Medium, LLC.
All written, audio, visual, and other materials provided in this class are protected under copyright.
By registering, you agree that:

All materials are provided solely for your personal use.

You may not reproduce, distribute, publish, sell, scan, reprint, translate, or use these materials for commercial purposes.

You may not teach, modify, or incorporate the manual into any training, class, workshop, or program without express written permission from Sedona Medium, LLC.

Violation of these terms constitutes copyright infringement and may result in legal action.
5. Personal Responsibility & Health Disclosure
Reiki is a gentle, spiritual healing practice. It is complementary, not a substitute for licensed medical or psychological care.
By participating, you acknowledge that:

Reiki does not diagnose, treat, or cure medical or psychological conditions.

You are responsible for your own well-being, physical limitations, and energetic boundaries during the training.

You will notify the instructor of any physical restrictions, mobility concerns, injuries, or conditions that may affect your participation.
6. Liability Waiver
By enrolling, you voluntarily agree to release and hold harmless:
Sedona Medium, LLC and Christina Wooten
from all liability related to:

Injuries
-
Emotional discomfort
-
Energetic experiences
- Trauma responses
-
Use or misuse of skills learned
-
Personal results or outcomes from practicing Reiki
You understand that Reiki training involves energy work, meditation, partner practice, and hands-on techniques that may evoke emotional or physical responses, and you participate at your own risk.
7. Certification Disclaimer
Completion of the class and certification indicates that you have been trained according to the standards of the instructor. It does not:

Guarantee professional success

Grant a license to practice healthcare
-
Replace state, local, or national regulations regarding professional healing services
Students are responsible for complying with the laws and ethical standards of their region if they choose to offer Reiki to others.
8. Photography, Recording & Confidentiality
To maintain the integrity and privacy of the training atmosphere:

Recording or photographing the class, instructor, or other students is not permitted without explicit permission.

Information shared by other participants during class must remain confidential.
This ensures a safe environment for spiritual and energetic learning.
9. Private Home Location & Premises Liability
This Reiki class is held inside a private residence. By registering and attending, you agree to the following:
Assumption of Risk
You acknowledge that entering a private home carries inherent risks (uneven flooring, outdoor walkways, steps, furniture, personal household items, etc.).
You voluntarily assume full responsibility for your own safety while on the premises.
Release of Liability
By attending the class, you agree to release, indemnify, and hold harmless:
Christina Wooten, Sedona Medium, LLC, and all household members
from any and all liability relating to:

Accidents, slips, trips, or falls

Injuries occurring inside or outside the home
-
Allergic reactions (including to pets, scents, plants, or cleaning products)
-
Damage or loss of personal property
-
Any harm incurred before, during, or after the class while on the premises
Personal Property & Valuables
Students are responsible for securing their own personal belongings.
Sedona Medium, LLC is not liable for any lost, stolen, or damaged items.
Pets & Allergies
This home contains pets (both cats and a dog).
By attending, you acknowledge the possibility of exposure to pet dander, fur, or allergens and accept the associated risks.
Respect for Private Residence
Students agree to:

Remain only in designated class areas

Respect the personal property and boundaries of the home

Follow all safety instructions provided by the instructor

Refrain from filming, photographing, or exploring private areas of the residence
Parking, Walkways & Entry
Students acknowledge that access to the home (driveways, walkways, stairs, porches, entrances, etc.) may involve typical residential surfaces. Students accept full responsibility for their own footing, mobility, and safety.
Emergency Situations
In the event of an emergency, students agree to follow the instructor’s directions and understand that emergency response time may vary in a residential setting.
10. Agreement
By registering for the Reiki I & II Certification class, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to all Terms & Conditions stated above. This agreement is binding upon registration and applies for the duration of the class and beyond.
