What is Yoga Nidra?

Yoga Nidra is often called “yogic sleep,” but you don’t need to know anything about yoga to experience it.

In this deeply restful guided meditation, you simply lie down, close your eyes, and follow the sound of my voice. There are no poses, no effort, and no need to clear your mind. Instead, you are guided into a relaxed state between waking and sleeping, where the body can rest, the mind can settle, and your inner awareness becomes more receptive.

It is meditation for the person who doesn’t want to sit upright and try really hard to meditate.

You get to be held by the practice.
